Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Upright (“the Service”) at upright.dev, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Description of Service
Upright is a developer productivity dashboard that aggregates signals from connected third-party services (GitHub, Slack, Google Calendar, and others) and presents them in a unified interface. The Service may include AI-generated summaries and prioritization scores.
Account Registration
You must create an account to use Upright. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate information during registration and keep it up to date.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure.
- Scrape, copy, or redistribute data from the Service without authorization.
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.
- Use the Service to infringe on intellectual property rights of others.
Third-Party Integrations
Upright connects to third-party services on your behalf using OAuth tokens you provide. Your use of those integrations is governed by the respective third-party terms of service. We are not responsible for the availability or behavior of third-party services.
Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of the Service — including but not limited to text, graphics, code, and AI-generated outputs — are the property of Upright or its licensors. You retain ownership of any data you bring in from connected services.
AI-Generated Content
Upright may use AI models to generate summaries, prioritization scores, and other outputs. These are provided for informational purposes only and should not be relied upon as professional advice. AI outputs may contain errors or inaccuracies.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Upright shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of — or inability to use — the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. You may stop using the Service at any time. Upon termination, your right to access the Service ceases immediately.
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Upright operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
